Sheriff Jeff Crites is seeking help in locating Ashley Lynn Huff, a 42-year-old who is 5’2”, weighs 120 lbs., has blonde hair, and blue eyes. Huff is wanted in St. Francois County on an active felony warrant for failure to appear on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Just after 9pm Tuesday, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department District 6 officers, working in conjunction with federal agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), conducted a traffic stop in the area of Thekla Avenue and Riverview Boulevard. Within minutes of the stop, a vehicle approached the area and occupants opened fire on law enforcement officers.
