Officers were called to the 2700 block of Gravois near Ohio around 2:40am on Saturday for a person hit by a car. When officers arrived on scene, they located a female that had been hit. She was rushed to the hospital where she later died. A preliminary investigation reveals the vehicle was traveling westbound on Gravois through the intersection of Ohio when the vehicle hit the pedestrian. It appears the pedestrian was crossing Gravois in the middle of the block, not at the intersection and not using a crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating…
