The suspect is wanted for a robbery that happened at a restaurant on July 2, 2026 in the Southampton neighborhood.
A preliminary investigation revealed that around 11:50 a.m. on July 2, 2026, a 65-year-old man was eating inside the Jack in the Box located in the 4200 block of S. Kingshighway. While eating, a male suspect approached the 65-year-old man and took the 65-year-old man’s wallet from off the table.
The suspect ran out of the business after taking the wallet and entered an older model gold Toyota Avalon. The 65-year-old man said he approached the suspect’s car and reached inside to get his wallet back; however, the suspect reversed the vehicle, dragging the victim to the ground. The suspect then fled out of sight.
The victim suffered lacerations to his arm during the incident and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
